Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Established in 2001, the .NAME generic extension is the sole TLD planned for personal web pages only. These domain names can include personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other titles people are famous by. At first, only 3rd-level registrations were possible, so if you planned to purchase john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already taken 3rd-level names remained active.

You will be able to edit the WHOIS info, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our company if you obtain its EPP transfer authorization key from the current domain service provider and we will renew it once the transfer has been done.
